JVCs affordable KS-F150 auto-reverse in-dash receiver sees to that, offering 16 watts per channel x 4 continuous power (40 watts x 4 peak power), RCA preamplifier outputs for use with a dedicated, higher-power amplifier (either now or in the future), and a detachable faceplate for smart security. Additional standard features include an auto-reverse cassette deck, scan and seek tuning, a loudness control for low-level listening, and a preamp fader control. The tape decks grooved EHP (Extra-Hard Perm) alloy heads ensure stable electrical performance and a long service life. Further, an AFNS (Automatic FM Noise Suppressor) reduces high-frequency noise to improve tuner performance via a custom low-pass filter. SSM (Strong Station Memory) automatically stores the 6 strongest stations on the tuning dial for automatic station presets (one-button tuning of your favorite stations). The receiver offers 3 preset equalizer curves labeled beat, pop, and soft, each of which may be user-modified and saved for later recall at the touch of a button. Additionally, you can apply electronic bass and treble controls independent of your EQ settings.
